We’ve received feedback that we seemed to be doing a lot of shopping, whilst that is true, we’ve also been around…

Remember the other night a few weeks ago when an unnaturally strong wind blew into Singapore? Look what it did to nature! Well, a little part of nature…

For those of you who drive, wonder if you’ve noticed the silent giant that stands protecting a block of flats at the junction of Bishan into Toa Payoh? I enjoy its majesty the few seconds we ride down the road, but look at what’s happened to it!!

To give you a clearer picture of how big it really is…

Look how large it is!

Enjoy some of the shots that we took of the rest of it, trunk…

A closer look at its roots… there’s a bottle there! Wonder how old it is…

So sad! Can’t believe the wind could blow such a HUGE tree down. The flats behind seem ok, probably only shocked from the earth-shattering boom and tremors when the tree collapsed.

The only ones who seem truly bothered by this piece of history are the workers who have to chop it into pieces small enough to be driven away! And us, crazy couple who rode on our trusty Vespa in hot mid-day sun to take pictures! Thanks, dar, for going on another adventure with me! :)
